Shape Factor क्या होता है?

Shape factor किसी particle के आकार को numerically represent करने का तरीका होता है। यह particle के surface area, volume और dimension के आधार पर तय किया जाता है, ताकि उसकी real geometry को quantify किया जा सके।

Sphericity बताता है कि कोई irregular particle ideal sphere से कितना मिलता-जुलता है।

ψ = (Surface area of sphere with same volume) / (Actual surface area of particle)

• Perfect sphere के लिए ψ = 1
• Irregular particles के लिए ψ < 1
