Components of WWW

Web Page

Web Page HTML द्वारा बनाई गई एक Digital Document होती है जिसे Web Browser में देखा जा सकता है। प्रत्येक Web Page का अपना Unique URL होता है।

Website

Home Page

Hypertext ऐसा Text होता है जिसमें अन्य Documents अथवा Web Pages के लिए Links जुड़े रहते हैं। User इन Links पर Click करके संबंधित Information तक पहुँच सकता है।

Hyperlink

Hyperlink Web Page का Clickable Element होता है जो किसी अन्य Web Page, Website, Document अथवा Resource तक पहुँचने का मार्ग प्रदान करता है।

Web Browser

Web Browser ऐसा Software Application है जो Users को Web Pages देखने तथा WWW Access करने की सुविधा प्रदान करता है। उदाहरण— Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge तथा Safari।

Web Server

Web Server ऐसा Computer अथवा Software होता है जो Websites तथा Web Pages को Store करता है तथा Browser द्वारा भेजी गई Requests का Response प्रदान करता है।

Client-Server Architecture

World Wide Web Client-Server Architecture पर आधारित है। इसमें Client (Web Browser) किसी Web Page की Request भेजता है तथा Web Server उस Request को Process करके आवश्यक Response वापस भेजता है। यह Communication सामान्यतः HTTP अथवा HTTPS Protocol के माध्यम से होती है।

Working of WWW

जब User Browser में किसी Website का URL Enter करता है, तब Browser DNS Server की सहायता से Domain Name को IP Address में बदलता है। इसके बाद Browser HTTP अथवा HTTPS Request Web Server को भेजता है। Server आवश्यक Web Page तैयार करके Browser को भेजता है और Browser उसे User के सामने Display करता है।

3. Browser sends HTTP/HTTPS Request.
4. Web Server processes Request.
5. Server returns Web Page.

HTTP and HTTPS (Introduction)
