CPM एक deterministic network technique है जो project management में project activities की scheduling और critical path identification के लिए use होती है। इसका मुख्य उद्देश्य project की minimum completion time और critical activities को identify करना है।

CPM की परिभाषा

CPM का full form है Critical Path Method। इसे 1950s में DuPont द्वारा develop किया गया था। CPM project activities के fixed duration पर आधारित है और यह project planning और controlling में मदद करता है।

Network diagram और ES, EF, LS, LF calculate करने पर critical path और project completion time पता चल जाएगा। Activities with zero float critical path पर होंगी।
